| Help, Annie just got stung by bee I tried to search the threads to see if this has been discussed, but the search won't work. Is there anything that I can do to help her? I researched on line and it said if a simple bee sting, some water with baking soda can help with pain. Also keep close eye on her to make sure she isn't allergic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Katheleen |

| My little Luci got stung by a wasp about a month ago on her foot. I grabbed her fast and got liquid Childrens Benedryl in her fast and rushed her to ER to have her checked over. We could not find the stinger at all. She got a steroid injection as well as a benedryal shot. She was monitored very close for any reaction and swelling. Thank heavens nothing happened to her. Please a keep close eye on her and look for any swelling in the face and her paw as well.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I'd give her children's benedryl. 1cc per lb. I'm sure she'll be fine.

| I greatly appreciate all your valuable advice. Took Annie to the vet today as her sister, Charlee was due for her dental cleaning. Happy to report, no swelling and doc told me that the advice I got from you all was spot on! So again, thanks to you all for being there for me! I was in a panic when it happened, and my first thought was to turn to you all as I knew that I would get great advice. This is another reason why DH and I want her to potty inside. Hope you all have a great Monday!! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | This. Always have Benadryl on hand in case of stings/bites etcetera. Write down the dosage you need for her and keep it by your doggie ER kit. I use the tablet (25mg) and use 1/4 tablet for the dosage, as approved by my vet.

| Glad Annie is feeling better. Zach got bitten or stung on his tail a couple of weeks ago the vet is not sure which, but we took him to the emergency vet and then to our own vet. Zach had bitten his tail so bad that it was all infected. He was on clava mox and benedryl for two weeks and finally the tail is healing. oh and also he was given a collar so he wouldn't bite it. |

| That's exactly what I did! If something were to happen again, I didn't want to be frantically searching for the correct dosage. |
