Way to go Cassie keep it up Sending prayers and thoughts |
Shellie, it is wonderful to hear good news that she is improving. Still praying that this will continue. She is an amazing little fighter, and hope she recovers soon. |
I am so glad it hear that! Keep it up Cassie |
I have not been on and just caught up on the setback and was relieved to read that sweet Cassie is doing better. I felt so bad for you when I read you were saying "What am I doing wrong" NOTHING You are being there 100% for Cassie. I am sorry that it did not work out with the communicator but at least I brought you to a personal understanding and perhaps a better head/heart space for you to be in for now. Even though I am not on much I still send prayers for you and Cassie. Best wishes |
Shellie, sending continued prayers for Cassie and for you. Was heartened to hear the good news about the 02. Shellie you are awesome. With all you have been through you and Cassie are an impressive pair. You are so there for her and she knows that. I have learned so much from you and can only hope I would be able to handle all you are managing. Muffy is in a good place, Cassie needs you and you have spiritually and physically answered that call. No doubt you and your vet supporters are doing everything humanly possible. The YT prayers will weigh in as well :D |
Love good news, especially when it comes to Cassie. So, very happy to hear she is off the oxygen. She is one determined little fighter for sure. She knows how very much you love her and support her in every possible way. We will all continue to love and support her as well with our thoughts, comfort and prayers. Her vets and assistants seem amazing with her...may they all be blessed in life. Get well soon Cassie!!! |
Just got back from visiting my baby. She was out of O2, but still wheezing and squeaking, and I was not feeling comfortable holding her so I asked for the doctor to check her again. She did come in and listen and she said she hadn't heard that before but did not think it was anything to be concerned with. The are going to give her another chest X-ray tonight instead of tomorrow morning just to make sure. Someone said well maybe she is excited to see you. I asked the doctor "if that is the case, should I be visiting her?" She said "Oh my god YES, you are what she is living for." So I will go back tomorrow and hope and pray that her breathing is better. The doctor said, "look, she is still sick, she still has pneumonia, just because she is out of O2 doesn't mean she is well yet, that is why you are still hearing labored breathing" So I guess I should be more patient and let her take her time in getting well. Here is hoping she will be breathing better tomorrow. She did eat somewhat today, although not as well as she was eating during her last admission. We still need lots of prayers. Lots of Love Shellie |
Shellie, I'm sending lots of hugs and prayers for you and Cassie. |
sending prayers for you and cassie |
Still sending lots of prayers! |
I have changed my prayers for Cassie to include prayers for your vet to find the answer to what's ailing her. Why is she so prone to pneumonia and why can't she keep her O2 levels up...I pray for the vets knowledge and expertise to cure your little girl or at the very least find a way to treat her illness. Please...I beg of you Dear God, help the vet help Cassie. |
Sending more prayers |
Just came back from Cassie and doctor. They say her sodium and potassium are low, now on IV's for electrolytes. Some fluid in stomach not moving through. Possibly from ABX which are very strong and might cause fluid not moving through. Got nauseous tonight and threw up fluid. Thank God doctor was holding her and tipped her head downward. She was squeaking and whining tonight which she never does at home unless something is wrong and is also jerking periodically. Still some labored breathing. She out of O2, so that is good. Still very worried |
That poor baby. Praying for her healing. Hugs to you. |
I too am so very worried...Cassie has many people praying for her recovery. I wish she wasn't so sick, she deserves to feel better and you deserve to have her well. |
Prayers for you and Cassie, stay strong both of you! We all are praying for you! |
Continued positive thoughts coming your way!! |
