Great news!! Will continue to pray. |
:cheer: Go Cassie :cheer: |
Miracle!!!!!!!!! ANGELS all!!!!, you have accomplished a MIRACLE. Dr. called today absolutely glowing and thrilled beyond words! I could tell by the emotion in her voice. She said that Cassie is doing unbelievably well, that her lungs have almost completely cleared and that the nodular pattern has started to dissipate dramatically, so much so that they can now say she does not have cancer. She says that Cassie is acting just like she remembered Cassie to be, very much herself and her recovery is amazing. She says that Cassie is going HOME today, with a diuretic-furisomide, and miratenum an ABX (which she says is an injectable (for two or more wks)- which I am terrified of-I hate needles, and I am afraid of them and afraid to give it to Cassie who is so small and fragile-or she says I can bring her by 2X a day and they will do it themselves-which I might opt for!!!). Cassie has an appointment on Tues with the cardio/pulmo Dr. for echo etc., and possibly even to see ONC just to rule out once and for all, but they are almost positive it is a weird type of bacterial pneumonia. They are doing a heart worm test, however unlikely just to rule it out. They will also recheck x-rays to make sure she is continuing to progress. My heart is full of wonder, joy and love. Thank you all for your prayers, for your active participation in Cassie's healing. You are our Angels, and I am eternally grateful from the bottom of my heart. I am crying with joy and gratitude as I write this. My soul is at peace and i am able to breathe fro the first time in over a week. May you have many blessings at your door, and the wind at your back. Much Love to all my Angels Shellie:D:thumbsup:exclaim::woof::yay_jump::yay_ju mp::yay_jump: |
That is great news!!!! YT prayers are the best! |
Also, the doctor said Cassie is very lucky to have me as her mom-that Cassie being so sick and fragile, many others would have given up on her a long time ago. I told her my Angels and I would never give up on her for as long as she was willing to be here on this earth. Thank you for not giving up on My baby:) |
Just wonderful, breathtaking news!!! |
Poor little Cassie! My heart aches for you.. Be strong for your litte girl! I will pray for both of you! |
Im so happy that Cassie is better. I just opened this thread and next thing you know it I'm straight CRYING as I read it...( people at work must think I'm crazy). I am truly very touched to see all the love and support we all give here! |
I hope all continues to go well got Cassie. I had to give ny cat fluids sub q which I didn't think I could do. They showed me how and I became very good at doing it. Taking fragile Cassie twice a day back to the vet could be very upsetting to her. Do consider trying to do the injection yourself. It still gives me the creeps when I think about sticking a needle into skin. You do what you have to do. |
I am so glad to hear how beautifully Cassie is doing. She wants so desperately to come home to her mom who loves her so dearly. You are both so lucky to have each other. |
How wonderful I too was crying with happiness as I read the latest update. Home with Momma the best medicine ever for Cassie. Sending prayers for her continued improvement and that the future tests rule out anything bad. Buster sends Cassie gentle nose kisses. |
