Thanks. Yes, it's hard to find someplace better to go, but I enjoyed cruising around the San Juan Islands on BF's boat. The Pacific Northwest is nice, but only in summer

Glad to be home and it's National Dog Day, so taking the day off to play with fur girls

Linda, just read your longer post to Sandy, and wanted to say that I very much appreciate all you do to help us with health issues, etc., etc. Sorry you have had such a tough year and I do not know how you do it.

YorkieTalk would not be the same without you and for the life of me I do not understand the pattern that sometimes happens, when someone posts in the sick and emergency area and people start chiming in getting on the case of the person giving suggestions. Like you said in that forum, please post in the thoughts and prayers forum, if that is what you want or need.

While I so appreciate all of you, I ask that further comments not be made about what I said, please. PM me if you wish, but I was just talking because my feelings were very hurt.... and I really have had a lot and I really do feel a lot of pain over many things that have happened this year...most especially four precious pups who went to the Bridge. Just been rough.

Hi Linda, just wanted to check in and see how Olivia's doing with her medication. I am so sorry to see that it's came down to using a pill popper for her. Poor baby, I can only imagine how hard that is for her and you as well.

Thanks, Carla. The good part is that it really is not every time she has to take meds. Usually the biggest issue is in the morning..she is not as hungry I think. She eats less food and is not interested in a treat/med. The evening on an empty tummy, I have no choice. Before bed, she usually takes her meds without a problem. So...all in all it's ok .. could be worse. I do hate when I have to use that thing...I feel like I am torturing her because she just fights so hard not to swallow it. Shes a mess my little girl.

Olivia went for follow up labs today and she is doing fantastic!!!! The only abnormality she had in her blood work was a slight bilirubin elevation. To think that her ALT was over 2,000 not that long ago and is now WNL. I am just ecstatic!! Love my vet and also the specialists at GCVS!

I need to post a thank you thread about this little piggy tshirt dress that I got from Kristin/Maximo/W.Fields .. it was quite the hit today at the vet and also at CVS when we went there later.

Doesn't she look healthy? I am so happy!!!!
