Yeah, but it is not the first time. A member here did it and the pup died after she collected thousands...and she kept collecting. Some people just think the world owes them something.

GREAT SLEUTH WORK!!! Showed this scammer for exactly what she is!!! Struttin her stuff in her little bikini.....she looks real concerned in that shot, begging for money from strangers....wonder where she got that pic of that pup??? Dog looks a little older than 16 weeks old. dont cha think???? She is such an authority on Yorkies, she should know a 4 month old Yorkie is still in puppy colors!!!! Gonna have to replace that pic!!! Or change the story to make the dog older in your scam story.

Update: the dog is fine. He's splinted. I had a dog break a leg before and it healed in a cast. Since his leg isn't as badly broken as that dog, we are trying to splint it. Vets always push surgery. I'm a nurse and I know sometimes it's all about whatever makes more money.

I don't think anyone here is trying to be rude. I think they're concerned about what you're trying to do and the way you're going about it. And they have some valid points. If you were a long term member of this forum, you may have the same concerns.

I certainly wish the best for poor Irvin and am very concerned for him.

What concerns me the most is that it appears (stress appears) that you've chosen to splint the leg based upon your experience with a past dog of yours who broke its leg and was casted. The way you've written this description makes it appear you've chosen this route without the vet's approval, and merely to save money. I'm not saying that's the fact, I'm saying that's how it reads. And that really scares me. Please, make sure you're doing the best thing for Irvin based upon an Ortho's recommendation.

What also bothers me is you saying this: "the dog is fine". Ouch. I have 3 precious furkids, and I've never ever referred to them as 'the dog'. This concerns me bc it makes you seem very distant from Irvin. Again, it may not be the case...but it 'reads' as that .

Btw, my bach degree is in nursing too...but I wouldn't make too many decisions regarding my dogs based upon my knowledge of human nursing. Some of the physiology applies readily, but the anatomy is ENTIRELY different.

I was just thinking, Did the op ever say how she got the dog, or did I miss it? If she could afford to buy the dog for a 5 year old kid she can't be that broke. Also she says she's a nurse. They make good money so what's her problem? If she is so strapped for cash she should have gotten her kid a goldfish not a dog. I agree with everybody. This has got to be a scam and I hope she gets caught if it is. I just feel sorry for the poor dog. If her kid broke her leg I'm sure she wouldn't put a splint on it. This really gets me pissed.

She was also arraigned on felony charges in May, 2012, though if she is not presently in jail, then maybe she was found innocent or charges were dropped. A court judgement of $2,719. was recorded in favor of the Annex Apartments in June of last year. Oh yes, and according to her resume, she is not now, nor has ever been a nurse. I have screen saves to back up what I'm posting.

Depends on the type of nurse! I"ve met people who describe themselves as nurses that got a certificate degree from one of the adult education colleges, and then I have my bff who is an RN and studying to become a nurse practitioner and she still calls herself a regular ol' nurse. The degree and the salary are VASTLY different. And still she would never think she knows better than a vet.

Obviously, there was holes in the story. But was it really worth going digging up information just to trash the person? What a boring existence some must have.

I am sure she didnt give you information about court cases and whatever it is she does. If you didnt give her any money, you lost nothing. And at the end of the day after your detective work is over, what changed in your life?

Going on her pages slandering her? Really. I am so glad I am smart enough not to give too much personal info about myself, someone may decide to do a background check on me to see what they can find. I got nothing to hide but its a violation of my privacy, I dont care if I am on the internet.

If Peanut needed a surgery as desperately as this OP said her dog did, I would not be going to to get my nails done, or even buying coffee for that matter. I would be living off Top Ramon and tap water until I saved up enough money to make sure my Peanut was ok.

Irvin is our 4 month old Yorkie puppy. He took a fall and has fractured his little leg. The only way to fix him is to have surgery that is very costly. He was a graduation gift to my 5 year old daughter. We just relocated and would hate to lose him. He's the only little piece of "home" that we have.

We are in DIRE need to have a complex surgical procedure. Without it, he will lose his leg or be surrendered.

Is a red flag for me. What did she need help with? She doesn't ask for any help, other than insinuate what our pockets can do.

Yes, the story didn’t make sense from the start. If people were in dire need they would want to know what they could do to help their Yorkie… Care Credit, arrange a surgery at a clinic.. etc etc not just come on insinuate you are asking for money and then disappear.

If I were to give her any money I would be very upset from the information that one of our members have found.

Privacy is important to many of us. But when you go all over the internet trying to raise money, for a sick dog (if there is even a sick dog), I believe one should be ready to have background facts checked out.

I applaud our members here who can search out further details on posters such as these.

They remind us that heart needs to be melded to head, and that a scam is borne every minute on the internet.

It is not telling folks what a loser she is, but saying to other readers who are susceptible, to think a moment, to be wary of these kinds of things.

So, don't watch it. This person did put herself in a position to be questioned. I have seen so many people bamboozled by people like her that I am hard pressed to say it is wrong to expose her.

As to your slander comments....not a chance in hell would that hold any water.
