Prayers for Martini, please..... This is not a yorkie but a poodle named Martini who needs prayers for healing. She is my nieces dog who was attacked by a Pit Bull, this morning. My niece also has bites and stitches from trying to separate them. Martini is not doing very well. She has a broken femur and punctures to her chest....very swollen and not sure if there are internal injuries at this time. The Pit Bull is her mother's dog. Don't know why their was an attack but the poodle is a very sweet dog and would never hurt anyone. Please pray for them as they really need it right now! I will update, when I have more information. Thank you! |
Poor Martini. :( Praying for her. |
Oh wow! Prayers for your Aunt and niece, and Martini... how sad. |
This is so heartbreaking! I hope Martini's body heals and also your niece's physical and emotional scars. |
Prayers!! |
Heartwreching :( Get well little one, thoughts and prayers for you! |
Prayers sent for Martini! |
Update.... She needs to decide what to do by tomorrow. She doesn't have the money for extended care and the injuries are pretty bad. :( She has a big decision to make, so please keep the prayers coming as she will need them to get through it all. |
This absolutely breaks my heart....is there anyone in her family, that she can borrow money from, to give her baby the medical care she needs? I hope, if she sees or has no other way, she will contact a poodle rescue group that may be able to take possession of the baby and give it the medical care needed, rather than euthanasia. |
So sorry to hear this! Sending prayers for Martini! |
Oh my this is so heart breaking. Prayers going out for Martini and your niece. |

I am so sorry to hear about what is going on. Maybe your Aunt could come up with the money to help her. Sending good thoughts to them both |

sending prayers |
Sending healing thoughts, I do hope that the money for treatment is found. |
UPDATE I have not heard from her this morning, other than she needs to make a decision. She is so sad! Someone has offered to help pay the vet bill. She has 3 options: amputate the leg, surgery to pin the break or have her put to sleep. We are trying to get the owners of the pit bull to accept responsibility and pay the vet and medical bills. By the way, the Pit Bull was put down, yesterday. I just wish, they would have taken precautions before this happened, if they knew it was a possibility that this dog was capable of this type of behavior. I think Pit Bulls are beautiful dogs, but it seems there are so many incidences of them mauling people & animals. Keep praying! |
Deb, I am so sorry to read this...how tragic. Your poor niece :(. I hope she is able to fix the leg and keep her little baby. Sending good thoughts. |
This is so sad. Praying for Martini, your niece and family. |

What a very sad situation. Prayers lifted for Martini!! |
Prayers are going up for your niece. |
UPDATE: Martini is up and wagging her tail! She still has a long road ahead of her, but it looks promising! Prayers have been answered! Thank you all so much! Now she needs to raise the money for the surgery down payment which is $220. I suggested asking 11 friends for $20 donation to Martini or trying to apply for Care Credit Card. She is doing both..... Thank the lord for answered prayers! :) |
Oh Yay! So glad to hear this news! Prayers for a continued recovery! |
Praying Martini keeps fighting and her mom can get the funds together. |
Yay, what great news!! I hope she is able to find the money for Martini's surgery! |
