| Lump on neck from vaccination Has anybody's Yorkie had a lump left over from a vaccination? Gina had her 9 week boosters on Monday last week and now she has a big lump where she had the injection. I'm calling the vet in the morning, but wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem. Thank you. Cheers Quad

| I have read here of this happening. Please do check in with your vet. I think I would want the doctor to see it in person, just to be safe.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, this can happen quite commonly - but do check with your vet to put your mind at peace, and just to make sure. Btw, it really can take a while for these bumps to go down, so don't freak out if it lasts a while .

| Update time, Gina's lump from the shot has gone away, she gets her 13 week boosters and rabies shot in 2 weeks. Thanks for the answers. Cheers Quad

DO NOT get both shot's at the same time. Get her booster shot first and then wait 2-3 weeks before getting her Rabies Shot. This way, IF there is a reaction you know which shot was responsible for it.
