| ![]() Hi all, Am hoping you all can help me and Hudson out. ![]() This evening, Hudson all of a sudden started squirming when he was in my lap. I thought he had to go out to potty but so i carried him outside but as soon as i put him on the ground, I knew something was wrong. His tail was between his legs and he seemed like he was about to throw up or something. Then he just went to the flowerbed and laid down in the dirt as if he was in pain. I picked him up and carried him back in and i felt his heartbeat going SUPER DUPER fast!! I was so concerned so I thought maybe he ate something wrong and wanted to diarrhea or vomit. Instead he crawled to the corner of the room and laid down. This lasted for about 25 mins and I called the emergency vet clinic in the meantime. He is sleeping now and after a while seemed to calm down but I'm concerned!! I'm going to take him to the vet in the morning but am worried about what this could be!! Is this collapsed trachea?! Fever?? A seizure?!? I'm so scared!! Does anyone have any suggestions? -Nellie |

| ![]() Thank you for the prayers!! So the emergency vet said to bring him in. After about 20-25 mins of the shaking he stopped though. I watched him closely for the rest of the night and nothing was unusual. This morning he was fine too until about 45 mins after he had his morning meal. He had a regular stool when we first woke up and then he had his breakfast and he was playing. Then all of a sudden, the shaking started again. It lasted only about 10 mins this time so I took him to the vet right away and just got back. They ran blood tests and everything seemed normal. My vet still doesn't know what is going on and while I was at the vet (for about 1.5 hrs) it happened one more time so luckily the vet could see for himself what was happening. He said he COULD run xrays except if he swallowed wood it wouldn't show up. Only metal or rocks would show. SOOO, i'm going to watch him for the rest of the day and if anything else happens again, i'll bring him back. Has anyone ever experienced seizures with their yorkie? This definitely wasn't a seizure but Vet said it could be early signs or else something called pall mall seizures?? BTW his temperature was normal. SO worried still.... |

| ![]() I would also be very worried. I am sorry...it is so hard to have a sick pup and doubly hard when you don't know what it is. ![]()

| ![]() Sorry to hear your little one is sick. I understand your worry. My Lulu is at the vet now for pacreatitis. I can't imagine her being sick & not knowing what it is and how to treat it. I hope your little one gets better soon. Keep us updated.

| ![]() That must have been so scary. Has the shaking stopped? Has the vet been able to determine what the issue is? |

| ![]() Hi everyone! Thank you so much for all your concern and questions. I ended up taking Hudson back to the vet and we did an x-ray and they found something in his GI tract. It looked like a rock. The vet couldn't GUARANTEE that was the reason for the shaking but he thought it was a strong case for it. After the vet's, I kept checking his stools to see if he eliminated the blockage but couldn't find anything! I don't think I missed it but if there was something stuck in his intenstines, it is possible that it was super uncomfortable for him which gave him the reaction. Since the vet visit, he had 2 more episodes of the shaking and since then -- nothing! At this point, Hudson is doing fine. No more shaking and he's back to his usual self but that really gave me the scares!! I'm going to keep looking out for any unusual behavior. In the meantime, thank you everyone for your concern/prayers! |

I give him the PuppyVite medicine every morning and night. She eats 3 times a day. I dont know why she shakes alot. I dont want to take her to the vet for a quick check up that could cost me alot of money. She already had her feces checked and her 1st vaccine and everything was ok. Need help please, Im worried ![]() ![]() |
