| I wanted to get the word out about this place. I am hoping if their business name gets Googled or searched on YT that something comes up and will serve as a warning to others. There are other emergency vets in Orlando, so no one should ever have to use this awful place. The failure of their business, due to lack of customers would be a great vindication for the harm done to that little dog.

| I added tags at the bottom of this thread so that it would come up more readily in a web search. If anyone can think of additional tags that would help ("Orlando pet hospital" would be a good one). We can only add 2 per person. To add, just look at the two small sections below the last post. First one is "bookmarks," then "tags." Look all the way to the right for the "edit tags" link. Click and enter your tag(s). Two per person, and they have a 25 character limit.

| Disgusting. ![]() And animals do bite vets and their staff, but if one animal gets to bite several people, it was being handled imoroperly to begin with!

| Couldn't watch the video but anyone who reacts to a dog out of control by what is described by throwing a dog into a wall(!) should be fired from that job and never allowed to work around an animal again and furthermore, probably their own dog would be safer elsewhere until they've had some anger management or reaction management or something. I've never had to even think of treating a biting, snapping or attacking animal that way! If the person is not cut out for or fitted for that type of work or is scared of attacking dogs, they just aren't and they should be kept from ever having such a knee-jerk reaction to a pet again by not being allowed around them until that person makes huges changes. I wonder if the dog was badly hurt?

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | This is only one dog!! How many other animals have they done this to?!? And by the vet supporting her, it is like saying its okay to do that to an animal!!! IT IS NOT OKAY!!! Not only should she be out of a job, but so should that vet!! I would NEVER take my pet there if I lived in that area and knew what happened. Why has it taken so long for this to go viral?!? I bet she has her own pets at home, too. I wonder how she treats them???

| If you read the comments under the article, there is someone named Maria who says that this was common at the clinic, and that the manager punched a golden retriever several times. The vet now claims that the manager has been fired, that this "is over." He didn't do this until it all started blowing up on him! Claimed it was a long time ago, but other comments say that it was more recent. The original whistle blower reported this to two different entities (police and SPCA? I can't remember, it's in the comments) in mid June, and nothing was done. That's when they went to the news a couple of days ago. This can't be a "one-off" incident. This speaks to the workplace culture at this clinic and what was condoned, which starts at the top. This so-called "animal doctor" (I use that term loosely) should have his license pulled and I don't think either of them should be allowed animals OR children.

| I have no words to describe how I'm feeling right now. This is disgusting! If you don't care for the well being of an animal or don't know how to handle them, why work with them?! It is so unfair for the animal! I bet he was so scared and that's why he bit them! There are other solutions than hitting the poor thing on the wall!! And for her to be working there even after what happened is unbelievable! That vet should just quit! He could care less for the well-being of the animals at his hospital! This is so sad! I hope that the people that used to or still goes to that hospital see the video and the news and just stop going there until things change! It will be much better for their own pets. A person that treats and animal like that (even one so small and defenseless) should be allowed to be near animals! And a vet that knows that and still works with that person is as guilty as the one doing the damage!

| Look @ this comment from the original article: "The vet I used to go to in SW Orlando had a small sign in their waiting room telling people NOT to go to this emergency hospital on White Rd. They recommended another 24 hour place. You know its bad if a vet office tells you NOT to go!" Seems he had a reputation.
