| Praying George has a full recovery from whatever has got to him! If his gums are sticky that means he's still dehydrated, which can make him not want to eat. A little chicken broth in his water might help to encourage him to drink more and on his own. Also I'd go ahead and have the bloodwork done, especially if he hasn't had any done in the past year or two. It can really give your vet an idea of what may be going on with him. (JMHO)

| Okay and update on George, he is ok and back to normal now I did get really worried and was giving him fluid with an eye dropper (he fought me tooth and nail too) well no quite but he hated it would think I was trying to give him yukky stuff not just water. Took him back to vet and having blood tests done as I can't get the memory of that seizure out of my mind. But today he is eating normally and his water bowl has gone down so he must of had a drink when I wasn't watching. Just waiting to hear back from vet but also need to book him in for a teeth clean so will have that done in the next week or so ($300.) $66.00 for emergency visit, $95.00 for blood work and groom needed too so another $50, wow an expensive time for my boy lucky Mum and Dad work Thanks everyone for your words of encourage and prays. Love from Suzanne and George

YT 2000 Club Member | dog Prayers for little George. I would boil some chicken and see if he eats that. Perhaps with a little rice in it. Make his food really tasty. Also he needs to be drinking. Sounds like his tummy is upset from something. Did he get shots recently or did you use some kind of flea med on him. That flea and tick stuff can make dogs really sick if you are not really careful with these little dogs. I hope he is better soon. Oh do you think he got sick over the food you are feeding him? Just a thought. |
