| Bentley has a UTI Bennie has been marking too often for himself lately and when he does it's really hardening and like crispy. That plus I noticed it was a darker brown/red color and not yellow so we went right in to the vet today. He has a UTI and is on antibiotics and some anti inflam/pain meds. Poor guy. It's all my fault too, I've been putting their water up so my son can't get into it and belly banding...I bet the combo of thirst and having him in a band that he sometimes pees through before we get home to change him caused this...i feel like a crappy mommy. When it rains it pours too, between vet bills, our bills, and our cars crapping out on us we're in the hole like never before...anyone that wants some of my backstalk on fabric, dog clothing, or pampered chef please speak up! Prayers for Bentley are appreciated. Also he did a quick skin scrape during a time when he wasn't licking/chewing on his paws and it was negative so we think we may have beaten the demodex after a year or more of trying. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You are not a bad mommy. A bad mommy would not have taken him to the vet and would not feel so bad about him having a UTI. You see? I understand the whole financial strain you are going through. I'm praying that your boy gets well and for your family as a whole.

| Hoping and praying he feels better soon. Glad you got him in and treatment started. Feel better, Bentley.

| So sorry to hear that Bentley has a UTI but yay that he beat demodex! Have you considered water bottles? Or will the baby lick that too? Probably huh... How about setting up an ex-pen w/a door, make a square space & inside put the water? Surely the baby won't be able to go over the edge of the ex-pen?
