Good grief, Linda, I'll bet. I did read a couple places yesterday that dogs do continue with some related and unrelated IBS but I was in so many places, I can't remember where and didn't remember if the site was a reliable one or anything. There's so much out there you don't know who to believe unless you are on a vet school site or places like that at first. Later, when hopefully I know more, I can tell which sites are reliable as to the information. Some of the articles about these disease processes aren't even signed and dated. I'm so glad to hear Teddy is better. After all that he's been through, one would hope that his problems in that area were over! I'm hoping and praying he's going to continue to get better and can wish, at least, that it was a bug. And with what you are going through, I'd prayed you were done with having to hospitalize dogs for a while. How are you doing, Linda? I pray for you more than once each and every day. I mean that - mornings and most nights and through the day when my addled brain thinks about you, I say a prayer for courage and healing and peace. What you are dealing with is so tough I hope you have some help and get some relief from worry and responsibility for a while each week. I know it's good to stay busy but you need some you-time, too. Take care. |
No, it was not a bug. They believe it is IBD. But, that is so minor when I look back at what he went through! We can handle this! :) Thank you for your kind words and your prayers! Things are going along fairly well. :) But...this thread is about your precious boy! :) Know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers. |
How is Tibbe doing today? Is he perking up and acting more like himself. I hope so. I am waiting to hear an update of this sweet little Yorkie. Is that his picture you posted next to your name? He is so cute! |
Yes, Sandy, that is his picture. He's Yorkietalking - which he usually does a lot. He thinks he can talk like I do and has a lot to say about things normally. He's quite a bit perkier today and eating, pooping, peeing, resting normally - whew! It has been a while since he has had a whole day feeling better. He's not his usual fireball self but he's much much better. |
I am so glad Tibbe is better. He is the cutest and sounds like a great friend and companion. I hope he continues to gain strength and be his playful darling self. You are so blessed to have him! |
I'm sure you and Tibbe are releived to have a fairly "normal" day. So glad to hear that news and pray it continues along that path. :D You guys are real troopers  |

Thanks you all! Tibbe is having an almost normal morning - he's not 100% at all but he's looking good so far! It's just so good to see that defiance in his eyes when he doesn't approve of something I do, such as lay out the Pedi Paws and his toothbrush/toothpaste for later on. He's got an opinion on everything when he's not ill. Cocky as all get out. Rules this house with 4 iron paws and a smile. |
So glad to hear that Tibbe is doing better! Rejoice and I'll keep praying!! |
Sounds great. I'm so glad he's feeling better so that means his mom is feeling better too! Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers! |

Continuing to pray for the 2 of you. |
I am so glad Tibbe is getting better and better. Hugs |
Glade that Tibbe is on the mend. |
So good to see that Tibbe's got some Yorkie'tude going. Hopefully he'll be back to full force soon, and STAY that way. |
Checking on Tibbe. Sounds like he is trying to rule the roost again! I am happy he is getting back to his cutesy self. I love his picture and can just see him sitting there telling you what to do in his own doggy way! |
