Wow, that's a long time under restrictions! Makes me feel not so bad about 8 weeks for Jezebel. Tomorrow is the end of 3 weeks for us, 5 more to go. She is doing great, and I'm so relieved about that, but like you say that brings on new challenges as far as dealing with the confinement with a stir-crazy dog. I'm very lucky that I can be home all of the time to deal with it, and if I need to leave I do so when dh is home. I don't know how anyone that has to work outside of the home handles this healing / rehab time.

A YTer whose name I've shamefully forgotten made that carrier for me several years ago when another of my dogs had surgery. It's just a large fleece sack with a long strap, nothing fancy but exactly what I was looking for.

She made it out of fleece because I needed something to keep him warm when I had to pick them up on winter walks. When it's especially cold, I can even pull it inside my coat.

Downside is there's no extra support at bottom, so they sorta ride like a sack of potatoes, but for short periods it works great.

Glad to hear things are going well! That is nice that you can be home with them. I've had to leave Eddie home more than I'd like. It just makes him more needy when I am home.

The awesome threesome with super dad! The kiddies look amazing and happy! Eddie enjoying free rids with dad and Jillian already forgetting her experience. It sure hasn't affected her beauty. She is such a stunning little girl! I'm glad to see they are on their way to getting back to their normal routine, especially since nicer weather is right around the corner.
