I am so sorry to hear this but i admit i wondered about this, I never believed that it would be LS his BATS were so low..Micah's were much higher than Yogi's and he was diagnosed with MVD and had no symptons at all, I had just took him in to be tested.

Oh no I am so very sorry to read this. I pray that this is treatable. Many prayers going out for Yogi.

So sorry to hear the news, but we will continue to pray for him that he can be treated.

Give him lots of hugs from all the YT members who are thinking of him and sending good thoughts.

Well we brought yogi home last night, boy was he happy to see us and went puppy crazy when we got home. he ate a good dinner. then We took him to bed with us, padding the whole bedroom just in case. he slept well, in between us and is still sleeping next to me at 630. hubby is worried hes so sleepy still, but i say 3 days 2 nights in hosp, tests meds etc,plus he is sick so it's expected at this point. Hes on 9 weeks taper of pred, maybe other meds depending what spinsl results are. just glad hes home. thanks for all good wishes, advice and prayers, we'll see if they are answered. Best wishes to little Micah with his mvd as well. Sickness in these babies is horrible.

Thank you Micah was 1 year old at the time he had the BAT, he is gonna be 5yr old in oct. this year and he is doing really good. praying that your Yogi will do well on his meds

When will they know the test results? How is Yogi doing today?

Today thank god, Yogi seems terrific. He is so happy to be home and with me. Sill waiting for the spinal tap results, not in yet. The prednisone, my wonderful vet lets me come in twice a day and they administer it. Yogi has always hated liquid meds, two grown adults and we can't get it, in his mouth! He seems so good that its hard to believe he could be so sick. Vet not sure if he has some vision prob in his right eye. Vet found special pharmacy to compound this tiny dose into a treat so as soon as we get it we won't have to bring him in to vet for meds. He is walking fine and eating normally. Drinking more prob due to pred. Even took him for short walk since it 70 and sunny today. He loved it. So he seems comfortable and hopefully not in any pain. He licks the small bald spot from IV, also has small shaved spot on back of head from spinal. But he is the most adorable puppy ever. Thanks again for all the support. We are all just crazy about our Yorkies!
