| I was searching " Circling" and your post came up. I have a 3 lb, 15 yr , 4 mo. old yorkie, Lacey, who has been blind for 2 yrs, has been diagnosed with early kidney disease and now since she lost her little sister 2 months ago to Kidney disease, her behavior has changed. Its gotten worse this past week as she's up all night 'circling' at times and pacing. Something different from her mapping for blindness. She can circle 20 times in a minute. I searched out Senior Canine health issues and I seem to come up with CDS, something of which it sounds like your 15 yr old Abigale is being treated for. The symptoms are the same with both, so I guess I better get in touch with my vet and get her on some Anapryl . She won't let me touch her or hold her, I can't groom her or clip her nails anymore and its so hard clearing the hair from her blind eyes she puts up such a fuss. How isAbigale doing now on her meds? Thoughts and prayers, I understand what you're going thru and thanks for helping me figure out, thru your post, what is possibly wrong with our little Lacey. What size is Abigale? ITs so hard to figure meds for a 3 lb. senior dog. Lindsey was Laceys sister , same parents , 2 yr apart litters. She misses her so as we do, its only been 2 months. Its so hard watching your seniors health go down hill. God bless Abigale, hope she's feeling better. Lacey don't sleep much during the night and neither do we, so life is difficult right now for all of us. How do you know its time to let them go ?
