She is still doing really well with the eye thing. Swelling is mostly gone and she just has a bit of bruising left. The only problem we're having now is that the pain meds have made her constipated. I finally stopped the pain meds as of yesterday, and have been giving her pumpkin. She went a little this morning but I think she is still a little backed up. Any other tried and true natural remedies for constipation? I am not completely sure whether it is the pain meds or the antibiotics causing the constipation, and she'll be on the antibiotics for at least three more weeks. Diana and the Scoobster | |

| ![]() Thanks. She's doing quite well and seems and looks back to normal. I'm still a little concerned about the constipation though. She hasn't had the pain meds for a few days, so now I'm wondering if it's the Baytril? She's had clamavox before without it causing constipation so that's all I can think of. Back to the eye vet tomorrow, but she's great at eyes and not all that interested in anything else. I'm hoping we can discontinue the baytril and just go forward for a few more weeks with the clamavox. Diana and the Scoobster |
