This is good news so glad he is doing better |
George's GI Panel is in. The PLI was very high....they recommend doing a cPLI in a few weeks. The rest of the testing basically showed that he had an intestinal disease....the antibiotics have cleared that up. He does not have EPI or SIBO. I am concerned about the pancreatitis but not much I can do for now...he is asymptomatic at this time. Seems that when they tested him, although his only symptom was diarrhea, he did have pancreatitis. |
George Sorry that poor George has continuing pancreatitis, but glad to hear he now has no other disease and is feeling well. At least you now know all that you are dealing with. He is a brave boy and is lucky to have such a caring mom to take care of him. |
Rest In Peace George I went back to read this old thread to see how long it was since George had his last scare. He went for a while since this thread, and he lived pretty well all things considered. RIP sweet baby George - you'll be greatly missed. |
RIP Sweet George. |
Thank you, Cathy, for bumping this. It is a reminder of how much more time I was given with my sweet boy in spite of his medical issues. RIP my sweet Georgie http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...-ladyjane.html |
RIP Sweet George, you will be missed and forever loved. |
Linda~It just touches my heart to read about how you love your pups. It is wonderful that they are able to receive such love when their earlier life may not have been so great, but the flip side of that is that you hurt so much when they must go to the bridge. Prayers for healing and comfort for you. |
