| ![]() This morning, my little girl woke me up with the sound of her incessantly scratching her ear. I finally took a look and I was shocked to find that part of her ear is MISSING. I know that makes me sound insane but it looks like a piece of her ear was snipped off! It was not bloody or scabbed over or anything?! But I did notice there are a couple dark striations along the ear as well that I'd also never seen before. I clean her ears abt once a month, there is no bad smell so I know it's not an infection - but she's got the same going on w her other ear!!! Lily is 4yrs old now- I know what her ears look like so I KNOW this is new...she doesn't seem to be sick or anything at all- she's her same chipper self...I'm taking her to the vet but I'm curious to hear what you may all think this could be? |

| ![]() Cutaneous vasculitis can present like this. If your vet is not familiar with it, I strongly suggest you see a vet dermatologist.
