If they can't see your pup, they can help you find a vet that is open: PDSA Vet Care - Seeing a vet Without a diagnosis, there is no way to give you advice on how to help your baby. (And at 6 weeks, it is still just a baby and needs around the clock care, no different than a human infant). |

Ok... the above info will not do you any good if the puppy does not make it. You need to get the puppy to a vet or experienced breeder. I know you did not know this going into having this puppy ... but you do now. It is your decision of course but please PLEASE don't disregard the advice you have been given by experienced yorkie owners, vets, breeders from this site. I hope it works out. |

Praying for your sweet puppy to survive this. I know it has to be scary to you. Please listen to the advice everyone is giving you. These are some very experienced yorkie breeders and owners. The puppy care guide is a must have for you, but step 1 is to get this puppy to the vet. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you stop reading and researching right now. The answer is "go to the vet asap - this is an emergency." Please, please post back here when you've come from the vet and let us know the status of your baby puppy. Once you get your puppy through this emergency, then ask any and all questions - we are here for your support and to help AFTER a vet's care. We are not doctors. Thank you. |
Wow! Absolutely incredible! There is NO SUCH PAGE AND THE INTERNET WILL NOT HELP HER! Veterinary care is the answer. You don't know if this is hypoglycemia, liver shunt, a neurological disorder, a seizure-if so why???, a brain bleed from injury...only labs and an examination from a vet can diagnose this and a diagnosis is the only way to treat. |
Op, if your dog survived this seizure or syncopal episode, it might not survive the next one - and what if you are not there when it happens and that baby is all alone?!?! - and maybe just a bottle of medicine or a rather simple fix might right your pup. Please take the little puppy in to the vet at once and you'll know you have done the right thing. |

Welcome to YorkieTalk :) I see you're in Nottingham. I grew up in Sheffield, and made many weekend treks to Nottingham for ice-skating. Your yorkie is very young, so she needs regular feedings every 4 hours, around the clock (not just one or twice a day like an older dog). Think in terms of a newborn human baby & how often they need to be feed. Very young puppies are just the same. She probably had a hypoglycemia episode due to low blood sugar. Regular feedings around the clock will help to keep her blood sugars level. You could also give her little Lyle's Golden syrup. The best thing with any new puppy is to have a thorough examination by your vet to make sure that your puppy is healthy. You don't want to assume that's is hypoglycemia and treat it as such, just incase it's something more severe. Best of luck with your new yorkie pup!
