| Yes, surgery on a 3 pound pup is usually not a problem. I have a 3 pound foster who had 4 surgeries in one year and he is a senior with multiple health issues. I also have one of my own pups who is 3.5 pounds who went through surgery on his hip and he did very well. Going to a vet school is usually top of the line in terms of anesthesia protocols.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | Taycie had exploratory surgery done in October.. Because she either had a Liver Shunt or MVD. For us, it ended up being MVD. I know how incredibly scary it can be and we will keep Emma In our prayers. Hugs for you too! I know how badly you also need those as well.
