I took Sassy to her appointment this afternoon and the vet noticed she had lost more weight around her neck,shoulders and haunches...and with the fact that she was barely eating and her abdomen was extremely bloated and hard. He was pretty sure she had a large tumor in her abdomen and she was possibly in early stages of heart failure ...so to end her suffering and pain I had her put to sleep today...I will be getting her ashes back within a week....thank you all for your prayers and support.

So sorry for your sad loss. You did the right thing for your baby Sassy as she was obviously suffering and losing weight fast. It is so hard to make this decision but you know when it is time. Take heart in the knowledge that you loved and cared for her and that she is peaceful now and pain free. Only you now feel pain of her loss but you will always love her and never forget the joy you had together. So sad. Prayers and hugs. RIP dear Sassy.

I hope and pray that Sassy gets better. Do not wait to get her back to the vet or call and let them know how she is. Watch out for dehydration if she is having clear liquid stool. I am praying for a healing for this precious little Yorkie.

I am so very sorry to hear of Sassy's passing. I know it is so hard on you. Please know that you did all you could and did what was best to end her suffering. She will be looking down on you always - until you meet again.

I'm so sorry to hear of Sassy's passing. You did what many of us will have to do one day, it was your testament of your love for her. She is now running at the Rainbow Bridge free from pain, while patiently waiting for you.
Take comfort in the knowledge that you where with her as she crossed over.
You were the last face she saw...she knew you loved her and she you.
RIP Sweet Sassy...til you and momma meet again.
