				 | I am so sorry to hear that Becky has a shunt. I think her symptons are identical to my Lolas. To put it simply, she is slowly being poisoned by the toxins in her little body. That is why she does not want to eat. A healthy, functioning body witout a shunt will filter all of these toxins out, but Becky and Lola had a shunt that was allowing this unfiltered blood to poison them. Once Lola's shunt was closed off with the ameroid ring, she started to eat and feel much better. Her activity level increased dramatically becasue she was nourished and no longer nauseus or dizzy. Her hair started to grow and she was like a different dog. It makes me so sad to remember Lola the way she was. The only regret I have was not doing the surgery sooner. I hope you are able to get help for Becky as soon as possible. You will be so happy you did. Please keep us posted. My thoughts and prayers are coming your way for your sweet baby. |
