| He sounds exactly like Grim! Wasn't shy, lots of energy, lots of naps! It's funny how quickly we fall in love with them. I will pray that your little guy gets better fast and encounters no more issues! |

| I understand you have your puppy now and are caring for him. But for future owners.....please investigate the places you are purchasing puppies from. An online site can give you lots of pictures of the things THEY WANT you to see. You cannot tell the conditions the puppies and parents are kept in or what kind of quality your puppy will be. Just because you are promised and AKC pup does not mean you are getting a healthy puppy that is a good representative of the breed. YT is full of people who "fell in love" with a darling puppy but have had multiple health problems. Many of these dogs don't look much like the dog they had hoped to have either. Now I'm sure these people love their pets but if you are going to put out money for the dog of your dreams take the time to find a place you can truly investigate and learn what you actually need to look for. Don't put out money for a puppy mill dog. You are only rewarding people who make money off the backs of these poor creatures. There are good breeders here on YT that would try to warn you and have. People who love the Yorkshire Terrier breed would like to protect it from those who are ruining the breed and preying on unsuspecting customers by selling poor quality stock for outrageous prices. I hope the OP has no further issues with her puppy. I might also add that there are many vets out there that make a living by serving people who have poor quality breeding stock. They will not warn you about the potential of those puppies. These people cannot ship their stock without health certificates so they find a vet who will help them. |
