My phone died at work right after Cess updated that Lilo's heart stopped the first time. I prayed so hard. Could barely get through the day. I was dreadinng turning my phone back on...my heart is breaking with everyone else's.

We were all so in love with this little girl. I can't imagine your pain Cess, I'm so sorry. You did the right thing helping her little body be at peace and go to sleep. You will see her again some day...I believe I will meet her too. I'm so so sorry

Oh my God! I am so sorry for your loss. Reading through this thread was so painful. I'm praying for your recovery from such a traumatic experience.

we've lost her... im going to say goodbye to her now at the vet. she went into cardiac arrest again and they revived her again... they said its best if we put her down.... please let everyone know for me.. i am so heartbroken.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support during this difficult time with us. I just wanted to give you a brief update on Lilo's current medical status so we are all on the same page and can continue praying for her. We were hopeful that she would be improving after calling the vet at 3:00 am to check on her. They originally told us that she was able to sit up on her own and her gums were turning back to pink, but at 8am this morning Lilo's heart stopped and she went into cardiac arrest. We completely lost her pulse and heart beat for a few minutes and i begged them to keep trying... they managed to bring her back and she is still in critical condition at the hospital. She is now breathing through a tube which they hope to be able to take out in a few hours... They believe the cause of the sudden change was water developing around her heart due to a protein shortage. She is estimated to now stay another 3 to 4 days. That is all we know right now and we will be going back to visit her later this afternoon. We told her when we saw her how loved she is and ho many people are rooting for her as we speak. Her ears perked up at this, so we know out little angel is still there. We have put another $900 on our credit card towards her vet bill and have managed to raise over $1000. We thank you all so much again. We can never say thank you enough for all you've done with your support & prayers. Please help us continue to pray and share her story... She only has one wish this year and that is to stay here with us all....

I haven't seen you posted in the RIP section of YT, so I'm still hopeful that Lilo is breathing and hanging on. I can't begin to describe how I feel for Lilo and you right now and she is not even mine. I'm so sorry you are going through all this. Lilo has stolen so many hearts, I truly hope she makes it through and pray for a miracle.

There really are never adequate words to express my sympathy for your loss of Lilo!!! I am truly so sorry, and my heart breaks for you! I lost my fur baby last February, and I can relate to the pain and devastation you are walking through. I also know this all has to be so surreal for you as fast as this all happened!! Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers!! Lilo was a special special little girl!! I so enjoyed all of her videos, and I know you have so so many sweet memories of her!! I know you loved her dearly, and she was loved by so so many people. Her life brought so much joy to countless people who were able to be a part of your amazing little girl's life through her Facebook page and videos!! She will be greatly missed! I am just incredibly sorry for your tragic and sudden loss!! I hope she and Stitch are running, playing, and having the time of their lives tonight at Rainbow Bridge. RIP sweet Lilo!!
