| ![]() Hi guys. So I've been to the vet and called them a few times. But because I'm a worried new mommy I want to get your advice as well. Toby has been confirmed to have round worms and round worm eggs. He has been dewormed two days ago and put on chicken and rice diet. Yesterday he had perfect stools with long worms in them. Then today he is back to the really soft and jelly ones with a little blood. Vet says that this is to be expected for the next little while since the worms are still in there. He is eating and playing but isn't as much his perky self. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks! Toby's worried momma! |

| ![]() I would just keep in contact with the Vet as you are doing. If it lasts for more than a few days, though, I would take him back in if it were me.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Have you considered giving Heartgard Plus? It's mainly for heartworms, which can be deadly, but it also prevents roundworms and hookworms.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Contaminated soil, water, food, and biting insects can cause roundworms. Also, your dog can give them to you so a preventative for your dog can help prevent you getting them.
