| Donating YT 500 Club Member | The surgeon called me and he said she did an excellent job. She was waking up quickly from anesthesia when he called. We have NO SHUNT!!!!! Finally a defiant answer! He said he was surprised because of the numbers her bloodwork/bile acids were pulling. He said it looked really good as well. They Biopsied her small intestine and her liver and that was sent off for results. I am not sure when I will get results, my guess it will be within the next 24 hours. This part I am nervous about. They are trying to not only rule out IBD but Lymphangiectasia as well as PLE. I am nervous for that... I know Ladyjane has experience with those diseases and I am sure I will be contacting her if she does. However... on the plus side. Her bloodwork has never once hinted at protein levels dropping of any kind.. so I am hoping that will be a plus for us. Thank you ALL so much for your thoughts, well wishes and prayers. We can feel them and I know it is benefiting our outcome. We LOVE you all!! Now to pray for some good results from her biopsy. I did contact Dr. Remillard right before this entire thing happened and I ended up canceling it because she ended up in the doggy ICU and I wasn't sure what direction we would be taking.. As SOON as I know I will be putting that plan back in motion. Heaven knows she needs a nutritionist. Again a BIG THANK YOU to you all! I truly needed my YT family through all of this. You make me a better mom to Taycie and I am so glad to be apart of such a great forum.

| BTW I'm pretty sure Dr R has extensive experience in PLE and the other differentials.

| Prayers answered. Wonderful news that Taycie is awake and no shunt. Now if they just won't find anything else too bad but hopefully something that can be treated so she can feel better - that would be ideal. Give Taycie an extra kiss from us!
