Linda, I am very happy to read the positive update on Olivia. Praying for her continued improvement and for her test results to return good news.

Today was Olivia's two week check up. She had her B/P checked (normal) and a UPC was sent out. I will have the results tomorrow....hopefully it will be normal.

As you can see, she still has her "poodle legs" from her hospitalization. ;) Will update tomorrow!...hopefully with good news!! :)

Oh she is adorable in her Halloween outfit. LOL poodle legs. Praying for normal test results for Olivia. :hands:

Oh my goodness, Olivia is a doll with her shorter haircut! Aso, love her outfit. :) Hope the results come back great and will check back later.

Been following and hoping Olivia going to be okay and it looks like she is. It sounded so scary at first to me but this little one seems to have beat the odds and then some. And doesn't she look cute in her picture!!! Way to go, Olivia!

Thanks everyone...she is my baby. :)

We will not have results today. The lab made an error and completed the wrong test. :( Someone coded it incorrectly. So...they are doing it over and I will have it tomorrow.

Oh, I hate that you have to wait. Will check back tomorrow and hopefully the results will be positive.

Just spoke with the specialist at GCVS. He is happy with Olivia's test result...she is now at 0.9 ... so there will be no adjustment to her meds today. He said he wants to retest her in one month .. that will give the Enalapril a bit longer to work. The normal is .5 and it would be ideal to get to that...but he is happy with anything under 1.0

So, in December, she will have a repeat UPC and also her follow up ultrasound to check her liver and gall bladder. I am SO relieved!!!! :)

She is eating well and is no longer in pain so I am assuming all is well right now! :)

Whew! That is good good news. I'll bet the redo on the test was agony to wait through. So glad to hear Oliva is feeling so much better. She's a little toughie! Hope Mommie is doing better, too!

Yes, it was a bit agonizing having to wait an extra day... I am ok, but really could use a break from all of these weird things my pups seem to get lately.

Golly do I understand that part about the draining of the bank account! So chocolate it is and a wise choice. I saw that picture of Olivia back on page ?2? and her problem just sounded so scary and she was so adorable, I just couldn't post without getting maudlin or mushy so I just kept erasing my posts until she seemed to have passed the hump. There is just something about her in that picture that got to me. She looks so like my little Jilly and to think of that little baby so ill was tough. I was so glad to find out she has come through this I can't even say! She is just completely adorable. It is heartwarming and wonderful to know she's doing great. ♥

Yes, she is like a baby. She is very, very attached to me and it was so hard on her when she was in ICU. The one day I visited she was so happy to see me.....then when I left she screamed so loud...it killed me. I was terrified that she was going to end up needing surgery and I would lose her. I am so thankful that she ended up doing so well.
She is painfully shy around other people (typical puppy mill pup) and I so hated her having to go through this. But...I hate to see any of them go through these things.

It's so wonderful to get a positive and encouraging report from the vet. Oh how we fret over these precious little ones. Olivia is just adorable. We've all grown to love her and are breathing a sigh of relief. We will continue to believe her numbers stay well under 1.0 By the way, I think you are such an amazing Yorkie mommy. I have learned so much from your example. Thank You!

Thank you, Kim. How very sweet of you to be thinking of Olivia with all that you are going through right now with your Lucy. I have been thinking about both of you and praying for you. I know the pain of watching them age. It is so hard to lose our precious babies.
