| I will be thinking about Bailey. I hope you get some answers soon... Your baby shouldn't have to go through this.

| Update: we brought Bailey home today, her leg was amputated on Monday. She's doing so good. And that makes it a tad bit easier for us. She is getting around as though she's always only had 3 legs. She will still be somewhat restricted because she is still recovering from her lp surgery. We are just happy to have her home and continue to spoil her rotten! Thanks again for all of your concern, thoughts and prayers! |

| You sound like you are doing as well as can be expected and Bailey is too. Thank God you have her home with you now and the amputation is over with. Now you can continue to spoil her royally just as she deserves. I'm sending prayers to your baby for a fast recovery. Hugs to you too. Yay for Bailey!

| Oh, even though you don't expect when you take your dog in for LP surgery that he will soon be having an amputation, you seem to have adjusted to the situation as well as could be expected and little Bailey is amazing, doing that well. I hope and pray the rest of Bailey's life is a whole lot better than this last month or so and he gets lots of hug and kisses and spoiling!!! And I hope you have/will file a complaint/grievance against that vet with the State Board of Veterinarians or whatever the proper licensing/oversight agency in your state is plus whatever other actions you feel necessary so maybe this won't have to happen to another victim of theirs.

| This angers me soooooo much.....I think you have probably adjusted and worked it through...dont loose sight of the fact that this should have NEVER happened, and for the loss of that precious baby's leg, I would go after those people that facillitated this event, to the fullest extent of the law. Those people would NEVER forget what this has done to you, your family and that poor little pup that was entrustred to their "professional care". THEY OUTRIGHT SCREWED UP, AND THEN TRIED TO COVER IT UP, AND THEY SHOULD BE MADE TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES FOR THAT. Accepting accountability for ones actions is paramount to success in life. |

| I'm so sorry your Bailey suffered from such negligence. I'm glad to see she's doing better considering the circumstances. I wish you both all the best.......As a side note, I do hope you weren't charged for any of her care from this. That's the least they could have done.

| Glad your baby is adjusting well. The part of this that really angers me on your behalf is that they tried to cover up what they did. If they had just come clean, Bailey's leg might have been saved. Those 48 hours with the bandage did not do her any favors. I hope that you report this vet to the governing boards in your area. They should also have to pay for all of the expenses that you accrued for her care for this issue. Hugs to you and your baby!
