| Shaking/Shivering I have a 1 year old Yorkie. I found a flea on her the other day and got a flea preventative from my vet. This was last Wednesday. I have noticed the last couple of days she has started shaking or shivering. After I hold her for a little while she will quit. I thought maybe she was just cold, but it is not cold in here. She has been really clingy the last couple of weeks and all she wants me to do is hold her. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks Sheri |

| I would take her to the vet, shaking and shivering usually mean pain. Could be a reaction to the flea med as well. Good luck.

| I agree with Roseslevi. It could mean pain or it could also mean fever. Does she have any other symptoms?

| She does not have any other symptoms. She is actually in a much better mood than she has been lately. She is very playful with my other dog. I called the vet this morning and they want me to pay when I bring her in. I am out of work right now so I don't have the money. She took comfortis and and one of the symptoms is seizures, so I am wondering if it is just involuntary muscle contractions. I will keep an eye on her and see if she has any other changes. Thanks |

| Poor girl... It sounds like she's in pain. I would get her to the vet soon.
