| worms My new 8 week old pooped worms today. I brought him home this saturday. I took him to vet and he gave him a pill. He didn't give me anything to take home. I have to go back in 3 weeks for a follow up. I forgot to ask him if I need to seperate him from my other 2 adult yorkies. Or if there is anything special I need to do at home. So I came in here to ask the experts. |

| Mine gives the one time pill also. I haven't been told to separate my two in the past. However, I wouldn't let the others get near his poop. . As I am sure they could get them too if around it.

| They get worms from eating a flea or a rodent . The vet will give a pill that makes them poop them all out. They will b fine around the other dogs. My outside dog gets them all the time. He's a hunter.

| Your other dogs should be fine, I just wouldn't let them near his poo.
