YorkieTalk Newbie! | Lola has fleas! Lola has had fleas for months & NOTHING that I do will get rid of them. I give her a treatment monthly, we've sprayed her with a flea spray, AND when I took her to get her hair cut the groomer gave her a flea treatment. I am literally losing my mind! I have no idea what to do at this point. Can anyone help?? |

| I give my yorkie a flea pill. It's once a month. It's wonderful and I get them at the vet.

| Last fall my Teasell had a huge problem with fleas and flea allergies. I now use Comfortis Flea pill, After treating your baby you need to treat your home and yard. That way you get rid of any flea eggs...Trifexis is also good as it kills the fleas and also works for heatworms |

| Fleas are super bad this year, so if you want to get rid of them for good, EVERYTHING in your home and yard must be treated and/or laundered in HOT water and dried on HIGH heat. Vacuuming every single day and disposing of the vacuum bag (or canister contents) in a airtight plastic bag in the outside garbage is a start. I have had success with Enforcer Flea Spray for Homes, bought at Home Depot. It's a red gallon jug with an attached spray nozzle. I just pour it into my good sprayer, it's much quicker and easier on the hands. Everything that cannot be laundered MUST be sprayed thoroughly. I sprayed the entire floor, curtains, under/inside/around furniture. Here is a step by step that might help: How to Get Rid of Fleas: 13 steps - wikiHow Best of luck, it's not easy, but in the end you WILL WIN

| You need to treat the environment otherwise the cycle will continue!
