| ![]() You have a lot of company when it comes to being scared about these tiny fur kids. He will be fine and so will you but you have to have faith that those 2 things are true.. Your biggest problem will be keeping him quiet during the recuperation....Prayers for you and your baby as you face this.. |

| ![]() Hi, I am new to this site and am delighted to find all this helpful info about Legges-Perthes disease. My little 9 month old Yorkie, Denzil, had his op for bi-lateral LP yesterday. He is still in hospital and I went to see him this afternoon, he was delighted but cried when we left - I feel so awful leaving him but know it is for the best, anyway he will be home on Friday. I had to take him some freshly cooked chicken pieces as he hasn't been eating (he's very fussy about food at the best of times). The surgery went very well and he is due to have hydro-therapy treatment this week, I wish I could be there when they do that but I have to work. Anyway, very best wishes to you all. Tracy x |

| ![]() Five months on from his surgery Denzil is doing really well and runs around like a madman over our local park, infact he was like a different dog as soon as we got him home from hospital. The surgery cost £3000 ($5000 approx) but luckily it was covered by the insurance, which was a relief! I wish you all the very best and hope all goes well for you and your little dog.
