| Any advice on my sick Laci? Hello! I'm new to the site!! My little Laci ( 1.5 year old yorkie 9lbs) woke up Tuesday AM and got sick, didn't think much of it and went to work. I came home at 6 to find her very sick. Vomiting/diarrhea etc. I took her to bond animal hospital they ran tests/X-rays figured it was something she ate. Laci was prescribed famotidine and metronidazole. It's now Thursday night, shes eating her meals without vomiting but is still having uncontrolable diarrhea, she's lethargic and drooling. Has this happened to anyone? I'm very nervous : ( |

| I've never had this problem but I would definately rush her back to the vets. She could get really dehydrated and I don't think being lethargic is a good sign. Hope all works out well...so scary when they are sick! |

| TO THE VET ASAP! She has had diarrhea too long and she needs medical attention if she is drooling and lethargic....seeing the time you entered this post, I hope she is OK....If it was me, I would be on the way to the ER vet with her, rather than waiting for your vet to open......I probably would have been there at 10pm! |

| I hate to ask but is she up to date on shots? And could she have gotten ahold of a people bone anywhere? Please get her to a vet ASAP. She will be in my thoughts. |

| I agree with the others, your baby needs to be seen by a vet. Please keep us updated.

| That doesn't sound good and I hope that you get her back to the vet ASAP. These babies can go downhill so quickly and having prolonged diarrhea is not good. In the meantime you can try feeding her a teaspoon or two of PLAIN canned pumpkin. Sending prayers that Laci will be just fine very soon
