| Bella not feeling well Yesterday evening Bella and I were playing, she was running and hopping around from our carpeted rooms and sliding across the linoleum in the kitchen. She was making a quick turn and twisted and fell. I didn't think to much about it, but when I picked her up she yelp real loud and snapped at me. I knew she was in pain. I tried to give her half a baby aspirin but she wouldn't take it. She didn't move all night. I've got to go to the vets after a luncheon date today so I thought I would run this by the nurse. I know she pulled or twisted a muscle or tendons. It just breakes my heart to see her not feeling good. I've been invited for a weekend trip and with this I don't think I can leave her and the trip being 5 hours would be to much on her. |

| I will keep her in my prayers. Also my vet said they have done more research on dogs taking aspirin and have found out its not something they should recommend anymore.

| Bella has been up and down this morning. Pet hospital, I don't even know where the closes would be. Maybe an hour to two hours away. I did call my vets office this morning. They told me to keep an eye on her and if nothing changed to call Fri. But she's acting as spirited as usual. I know she'll be ok. She wouldn't take the baby aspirin so I didn't force it. :-) |

| Poor baby. Does she limp or walk differently at all? It is difficult to know what to do. If it is just a minor sprain it will heal but there is always that outside chance she did something more. I hope she feels better soon. Is she eating and drinking alright? |

| This morning she was cautious when she got down off the couch. We have a good padded carpeted floor. She been laying down carefully, last night she slept in one position all night and stayed in bed when I got up. But as the day has gone by, she has started to be a little bit more normal. She finally started eating this evening, this morning she wouldn't even take her cookie after the potty break. She's drinking water also. The vet said if she didn't seem better by Fri let them know. I do trust them. |

I guess I need to check that out. I've always had a dog, bigger. They are more hardy. Bella is the first toy breed I've had. I did almost a year of research before I got her. She's one of the best things I have ever done. My vet's office phone rings into his house if the office is closed, but I hate the thought of bothering after hours. But I was like that with my kids also. I'm the type to try to take care of it myself. But I will check in on the closest hospital. Thank you. I guess we all need a reminder. :-) | |

| Update on Bella. Took her to the vet yesterday. He checked her out and said by the way she would turn her head, it looked like she had strained her shoulder muscles. So she is on an anti-imflammatory/pain reliever for five more days and if she seemed to regress to call and they would get her set up with the holistic vet for accu-puncture. She's been doing real good so far, but I'm sure it's the pain relievers. I have also been using our wellness pro machine with her. Crazy I can see a difference after we're done with it. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts. What would we do without our babies? |

| Be sure to feed her good before giving the anti inflammatory. It can cause some bad stomach problems if not given on a full stomach. Hope she is better soon. |
