| Gizmo's Tummy Gizmo doesn't seem to be feeling too good today. He vomited twice, first time it was clear with a little food, and this next time it was all food. He's been really coughing lately and I've been giving him some Benedryl, I don't know if either of these things are related. But anyway, I was going to take Gizmo to my Mom's for dinner, but it looks like we're just going to hang out here tonight. If it gets any worse, then it's off to the vet we go. No diarrhea, just vomiting. So I guess that's a good thing. Keep us in your prayers that it's just a little bug that he has and it'll go away soon. He was shaking a few minutes ago, so I grabbed him his heating pad and he's curled up on it sound asleep with not shakes (thinking the shakes was from him being scared).

| Oh no, Gizmo! I hope your tummy settles and that you won't have to go to the doctor.

| Poor guy! I would keep an eye on him. Taryn, shaking can be from fever too so watch him. The last time Mikki was sick and shaking it wasvfrom fever. Make sure he is drinking. Hopefully he will start feeling better. Prayers and hugs to Mr. Gizmo.

| He got up and got a drink about 20 min ago. He always hacks after drinking. But I've been keeping an eye on him. He's still on his heating pad. I laid down some pumpkin in a bowl for him, and he ran over to it thinking it was dinner, but was sadly disappointed after two licks.

| He was coughing really bad, and itching. Thinking he's having an allergic reaction to something. We did switch him over to NV food a few days ago and he seemed to love it...I'm wondering if he's having a reaction. How long can it take for allergies to develop? I thought it would be right after eating that he'd show symptoms.

| I'm sorry Gizmo is sick. I hope you're not talking about Nature's Variety. You are probably aware that some of their food was recalled.

| Yeah it was the beef, dry that was recalled. At least, that's all that I have found regarding their recall.

| Today there's been no vomiting or coughing. He does seem a little bit worn out, but I kind of expected that from him being sick yesterday. I did, however, take back his N.V. food. I wasn't comfortable with it. Usually if there's one food being recalled from a company, it never fails that there is additional food as well. Thanks everyone for all your prayers. When I saw him sick yesterday, I couldn't help but think, "Here we go again..." And almost panicked.

| Very happy to hear he is doing much better and resting today. I think you are right to have returned the food.
