Ok I feel a little better. I took a small amount of can food down to him and he ate it. I am going to try and give him his antibiotics so wish me luck. Thank you all so much for all the help. I also took him outside but he refused to go potty, maybe he does not have to yet. I feel so much better now. You guys are the reason I stay on YT

I am so glad you were able to get him to eat...and that you feel better about it all. Hopefully you can medicate him without too much of a struggle.

I will keep your little guy in my thoughts. I think it's nice that you will be sleeping next to him to keep an eye out tonight. It sounds like he's been through the mill today.

I did not get him to take the antibiotics, he screamed when I tried so I did not pursue it. I hope this will not hurt his healing in anyway. He is sleeping again. I tried to take him out one more time to potty and would have no part of it and I do not want to force him.

If you continue to have problems, call your vet tomorrow and ask if perhaps a pill would be easier to give....or if he/she has any other suggestions.

He took them today without much of a fight. He is sleeping now but has been up and about some today but he is still crying and I mean he cries like a baby, it is so sad. Will tomorrow be to soon to let him out of the x-pen? He wanted out today so I did let him out for a little while but then he started crying so I put him back in. He has had his pain meds for the night and is sleeping good right now
