| Sophie has runny poop Sophies morning BM started out solid but became runny. She pooped in two spots right next to each other, which she does sometimes, but the runny worried me. She's been acting normal, running, playing, and resting normally. She ate all her breakfast and has had water, so I don't know if ths may have been just a one time incident or not. This was at 8:30 or 9 ths morning and she hasnt gone again and she only ever goes twice a day. I called the vet and they said to just watch her. She's not acting like she's hurt or sick, but I'm a paranoid mommy! Should I just continue to watch her and take her if she has another runny stool or go ahead and take her anyway? |

| This happened to Georgie off and on for a few months years ago (he is 6 now). Everytime I would rush him to the vet worried because he is so small. While I am not suggesting you shouldn't rush her to the vet I found a few alternatives to help settle his tummy and he hasn't any problems since. I would feed him boiled chicken and rice no seasoning just plain. I also started adding yogurt with probiotics to his meals twice a day. Try those and if that doesn't work take her for a check up.

| Oh believe me my husband talks baby talk to Georgie and loves him to pieces but he thinks I am paranoid too. We are Mommy's it's in our DNA I would try what I suggested and check her poop (I have examined many a poop in my day) Hope she feels better! Keep us posted!

| I hope it was a one-time thing and Sophie will be fine. Hold all treats and just feed regular food. ETA: Sometimes something as simple as overeating can cause a runny stool.

| I'd hold all food and just keep fresh water down for at least 24 hours, then just try some ground red meat mixed with rice to see if she will be ok with it.
