| Yorkie pup screaming My yorkie who is 20 weeks old will squeal in pain when you pick him up so I thought his arm or leg must be hurt but when I run my hands on his arms and legs nothing. But he has a little limp and he's not his usual self he is a very hyper puppy and who is always in the kitchen while cooking cause he wants food but now he just lays down as if he's afraid to move cause he'll hurt. The thing is he was asleep all morning and put him in the crate when I got home this started happening so it's not like someone stepped on him or any reason for a bone to be broken. I can't take him to the vet cause it's closed so I have to wait for tomorrow. i just want to know what you guys think????? |

| I personally would find an Emergency Vet Clinic and have the baby evaluated. |

| Since he's hyper he might have pulled a muscle or could be worse. I agree, he probably should be examined by a vet. Good luck! Keep us posted

| Just a thought.... Did he have a shot recently? ZoE had a lump after having her rabies shot that I didn't notice until she yelped when I picked her up, but she didn't yelp when she moved on her own. Then I put her harness on & she yelped again. That's when I felt all over the area and found a lump about the size of a nickel under her skin from where she had the shot. I drove right to the vet, he checked her out & gave her a pain med and told me to gentley massage the area each day. It went away in a little over a week.

| Well he had his shot last wednesday but he wasn't sore like he usually is when he receives his shots. I was researching online they said he could have been bitten by something. I'll definitely take him to the vet tomorrow, it just has me worried so I wanted some input from you guys. I'll keep you guys updated, thanks He's actually doing a little better he's starting to be like himself. |

| There are 2 ER vets open now, 1 in Temecula & 1 just off the 91 FWY look in the Phone book & you will find both. I have used both & both are good. |

| I would take him to an emergency vet because if there is nothing broken or no way he hurt him self then something is very wrong and waiting could make it worse.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | How's he doing today, did you see a vet? Hope it was just from the shots.

| Alanto Axial Instability....very serious. Short version, there is not a den between the C1 & C2 disc in their neck/upper spine that holds the head on. Zhoie has sugery for this at NCSU-vet school on Dec 1st, 2011 and is doing wonderful.

| Sending prayers your little one starts to feel better and it's only the shot causing him problems.

| Well we just got back from the vet and he was totally fine! I don't understand at all, I felt ridiculous going there because all he did was run around and smell the floor cause of other pets. He started acting normal again, basically being a playful puppy. It's strange... |
