| Luma heaving and shaking My baby was sitting at my feet under the desk and I heard her making weird noises...sort of like a sneeze. I know about reverse sneezing but she was doing it over and over and jerking her head forward. I started getting a really sick feeling that she was having a seizure, I got on the floor and held her and she was shaking. It really scared me. I feel sick inside, scared. It lasted almost five minutes. Now as I type this she is sitting in her bed and she's making that noise again. I don't know if it is reverse sneezing or WHAT, maybe she has a cold, but I think I should take her into the vet..she's whining and making a weird snorting nose. I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm trying to watch her.

| Check that her gums are pink, if not pink she may be choking on something. Yes I'd get to the vet....

| Her tongue looks kind of grey...she is sleeping now though, right on my lap. Is it normal for the roof of her mouth to have brown spots?

If her tongue doesn't pink up after stimulating her.... check her heartbeat... go to a fire station if closer than the vet.... they can do CPR...

| Are you there? If she won't wake up do gentle chest compressions while she's on her side... and do shallow 'your mouth to her nose (holding her mouth shut) shallow breaths into her nose.

| I'm driving to the vet right now although she seems to be fine and her tongue looked better once we were out the door. Going to make sure the vet thinks i'm just overreacting like a good mama would.

You are not overreacting.... a grey tongue is not a good sign.... be sure to tell the vet that is very important.....

| I could be wrong...but I have read that a grey tongue, when the tongue is normally pink is a sign that oxygen is not getting through the blood right. Keep Us Posted!! |

| We are at the vet, she checked her heartbeat and listened to her chest, Luma was making the noise there for the vet to see, and she said it doesn't sound like a typical reverse sneeze. Her tongue is a little grey and she is wheezing so they gave her some oxygen. debating if it is an allergy thing, kennel cough or even CT... My boyfriend is trying to ditch the rest of his classes so he can come see what is going on...
