I know!! I carry her around when we first get home in the evenings. Bogie is just so excited to see her that I am scared to death he will hurt her.

Tena, I take that as an exteme compliment...Zhoie is a living doll

They do look so similar though with their coloring

I am truly blessed that my babies love each other so much

Michelle, Jada looks like she's doing great! I have to say though I was almost as concerned for Bogie, he reminds me of my Biewer, Finny, with some of his expressions. I'm sure he is missing Jada something terrible! Praying for good results and a quick recovery! Hugs, Kathy

She was really restless when we got home, so after she ate her supper, I gave her a dose of her pain meds (metacam). I think she was hurting some, because she was pacing. Poor baby is sound asleep now, and her incision site looks like it is healing nicely.

I think Bogie has had a harder day than Jada, emotionally anyways...he doesn't understand being left at home without his sissy

I'm so glad she is improving. I'm sure it is still painful, since they had to go so deep. I hope she feels better and better with every day. Bogie is probably feeling very sad being left home. It's so hard for them to understand.

Poor little Jada! I will pray that all is well on the report and that she recover from this surgery quickly. So sorry you are going through such a worry. Hugs to you!

Jada is doing really well with her recovery. The incision site is healing and looking really good. It is really itching now though, and I called the vet yesterday morning about it. She has hydroxazine on hand for her allergies, but I was afraid to give it to her without checking first. I didn't want to dose her with something that might interact with her antibiotic and pain meds. He said it was fine to give it to her, and that she would be really itchy as the incision heals.
Last night she was feeling a little sassy and it is really getting stressful keeping her from running around and jumping up.
Poor Bogie

My DS 28 year old,

who still lives at home, got off yesterday at 2pm and he said when he got home that Bogie wouldn't take a treat and he just wanted cuddle on his lap.
I only work until noon today and DS is home, so I am leaving Jada here at home today. It has been really hard on Bogie, poor little guy

I'm glad she's healing well. I'm sure Bogie is depressed without his sissy. They are quite attached to each other.

Awwww, Poor Bogie. He don't understand what is going on with his sissy girl. Isn't it amazing the bond they have with each other. I hope Jada's incision continues to heal and the itching is a minimum. Hugs to both those sweet furbutts!!

Checking in to see how our girl is doing...so tickled to see she is doing so well. She has her good mommy care and lovings...makes the world of difference. Oh and credit to your family too...she's a much loved little girl

It amazes me to see how these little ones endure and bounce back.
