I am so sorry to hear about Barney. Sending prayers that between the bed rest and metacam the loosened repair will continue to heal properly. Hoping this is just a minor setback. Sending hugs to you.

Cathy, I am so sorry the doctor's visit didn't bring better news. Sending prayers for Barney that this is a temporary setback and that a couple weeks of rest will get him back on track without another surgery.

Oh Cathy...just saw this, reading...watched the vid and was thrilled...then read on and saw that Barney had a set back. I know how worried you are and how very hard it is to see them this way. My heart hurts so for you and sweet Barney.

Thanks everyone. Barney is showing very minimal improvement, if any, after 5 days on Metacam. But, he did put his leg down yesterday and today so maybe it really is just a temporary setback. I'm cautiously optimistic.
