My little Yorkie and I visited the Vet this morning. Everything went well. An x-ray, blood tests and physical were performed to note any internal/ external injuries. Everything came back normal! The vet said that when she hit the floor it scared her and hurt, thats why she whimpered and look startled and confused. Today she is eating and chewing on her toys like normal. What a blessing she is okay! Thanks for everyones advice and concerns, it was greatly appreciated!

P.S. Don't let these little ones out of sight!

I amso glad she is not hurt! These little ones can sure scare us, can't they? It's good you took her to the vet to ease your fears (and all of ours here on YT, too, by the way!) Thanks for the up-date.

Wonderful news!
It is always better to be safe with falls like that..luckily she didn't crack her skull...that sound is permenantly imbedded in my head..I have heard little heads hit tile and it is awful..so happy all is well.
Thanks for letting us know..we were all concerned.

I'm so happy for you and you did the right thing getting her checked out - better safe than sorry and I'm really glad she wasn't injured - nice to see a happy ending !

My dog jump out of my arms today and fell 4 or 5 feet to the kitchen floor against the bottom of the fridge. And, it is a sickening thud sound that you can't forget.

My pup ran to his bed. I got him and checked him out and he seemed to be fine. He was frightened - no doubt about that! But he soon ate a lot and has been playing all night - being a wild little boy. So - he's okay.

I am sure going to keep a much better hold on him when I'm carrying him around from now on. He put his hind feet against my chest and just lurched away from me before I knew what had happened.

It's scary!

I am glad that both of pups are fine.
