![]() My husband has insisted that I go get a second opinion from our vet, which I completely agree with. We want to make sure that we are doing the right thing for her and to hopefully avoid any problems with it in the future. Thank you all for he well wishes and ideas. I can't wait for the harness to come in, my left arm is soooo sore from carrying her! I may end up with the stroller after our vet checks her out. Thanks again YT for the wondeful support.

![]() Our Lab actually received radiation at LSU vet hospital 2 years ago. They prefer to work in conjunction with your vet to provide the best course of treatment, so I guess our starting place will be with our own veterinarian. I have much confidence in them as they found our Lab's skin cancer and referred us to LSU. Thank you all for your much appreciate advice and concerns. I will keep you posted.

![]() No biggie at all, lol. We were out of town when this happened so my parent's vet did the exam & x-ray and gave us the prognosis. I thought I felt comfortable with the out of town vet's instruction but the more I thought about it and with my husband's added worries I want to have our own vet's opinion and for him to see the x-ray. Thank you so much for your concern...any advice is more than welcomed.

![]() I brought Pita in to our vets office today to see if I could get our own vets opinion, but of course the one we needed to see was out for the day and will not be back in until tomorrow. One of the other vets looked at the x-rays and said that I really needed the opinion of the vet that was out as he is the orthopedic surgeon of the bunch. Oh it just figures that the day I go in there he is out....uhhh. So now I have to wait for him to look at the images in the a.m. and call them tomorrow to see what he recommends. Can't be easy, can it?!?! arg!
