| Yes! I just got back from the vets office, the laugh because I was there waiting with coffee for everyone. They told me they are going to keep him longer if I kept doing that. He is GREAT this morning he ate all his food, pooped and moved around so much his IV line looked like a slinky. They removed his IV and said they dont think he will need it since he is eating and drinking. I'm going back at 2:00 to visit him and to talk to the vet she was already in surgery when I got there. The staff said that he is acting like nothing every happened. Thor looked great and was very happy to see his mama.

| Thor may be acting like nothing ever happened, but his mommie will have to recover. We had a beautiful doggie cushion in a basket in my sewing room, now it is just a cushion and the basket is in a closet somewhere. Firewood stacked on the fireplace is the new consern. I keep telling mine that she is NOT a beaver. I dont even have to say "drop it" anymore,I just look at her and she starts spitting whatever it is out. So glad that your baby is recovering. |

| Oh my goodness what a frightening experience! I'm so glad that Thor is doing well and that you were able to figure out what he got into so he can't do it again. Some days they surely do keep you on your toes don't they! What a nice Christmas blessing for Thor to be doing so well and coming home soon. May he continue to improve and be back to his busy little self. |

| Gosh I'm going to have the longest night, the vet said the little man can come home in the morning!!!!! I'm so happy, he ate his regular food mixed with some soft food and did great. He will still be on meds for pain and won't be able to jump around so I'm going to have to keep him still but I'm ready for the challenge. The lamp GONE..... You know I stopped reading this forum a while back because sometimes it seems like we attack people when they are just trying to get advise. BUT I can understand how stressful it is to read about a pet that is not getting the needed help right away. If I had waited and kept thinking he would be fine I would have lost my best friend. I urge those people that post for advise to understand how fragile these little guys can be and know we just want the best for you and your buddy. If your gut tells you something is really wrong just go and take them to the vet- you won't regret it. I appreciate all the post with stories, prayers and well wishes you all have renewed my faith in this forum and the real reason why it's here --- to support each other when we need it most.
