Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | Cough, hacky What would cause a cough, kind of like you have something in your throat. Cricket has been coughing since this morning and coughing up slimmy foam. It almost sounds like she has something caught in her throat. I just called and made an appt. its at 6:30, so of course now the last half hour no cough. She is perky, eating, peeing, pooping??????? |

| Worst case is collapsing trachea which is almost certainly not the problem. Kennel cough is a major cause. Also they can scratch their throat and get infections kind of like people.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | I canceled the appt. she stopped coughing. I think she must have had something stuck in her throat. I told the vets office if she did it anymore last night or today, Id call and bring her in. So far nothing. Keep your fingers crossed whatever it was is gone! |

| Glad to hear the coughing stopped. Maybe she ate something and it got caught in her throat? We do that as humans and it is a coughing fit!! Keep us updated.
