I am just now seeing this. Steve, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Carlo. I always enjoyed reading your updated and seeing his pictures.

There is no doubt in my mind that you did the right thing for Carlo because you have done right by him all along.

RIP Carlo - you will be missed by a lot of people.

Oh Steve and Marge I was so sorry to hear about Carlo You did a wonderful thing for Carlo and you and Marge should take great pride in the care you gave Carlo. I just read the post today because it was a very hectic holiday.

steve and marge... i am so sorry. just now reading this and my heart is broken to hear dear carlo passed on.
such an amazing dog with so much fight, and we all know where he got that from! he had such a wonderful life thanks to all the love and care you both gave him. you did everything you could for him, he was so lucky to have such a great loving family. now he is running pain free, cancer free at the rainbow bridge and i'm sure he has met my sweet little nika there. the gentle giant carlo will never be forgotten here on yorkie talk, he captured the hearts of so many.
i know how much you, marge, maxine, and the spice boys will miss him, but remember carlo will be in your hearts forever and you will always remember the 12 years of happy memories you shared with the handsome big guy. love never dies. sending hugs to you all. you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

please know that you're in our thoughts... justin wanted me to send his condolences as well. i feel terrible for the pain you're going through right now and i understand how much it hurts to lose your best friend and how difficult it is without them. i'm so sorry he didn't get to come home with you and his time was up. we still miss our little nika so much every day and will always have a whole in our hearts from losing her. i carry her in my heart always. hoping that you're doing as best as can be expected and the wonderful life carlo had with the best care and all the love in the world and knowing he never had to suffer is helping to comfort you during this difficult time. i am proud to have met you and marge and the yorkie gang. you guys our friends, please let us know if there's anything we can do. feels like we also knew carlo in so many ways, he has always been in our thoughts and just amazed us every time we heard about how wonderful he did battling cancer. 20 months is just incredible and he wouldn't have had it without all you gave. he knew how much he was loved and that made him carry on so well throughout his battle. the big guy has his angel wings now and will surely be watching over his beloved family from above. carlo was truly an inspiration and always will be.
