So sad to be reading this

It's apparent that Carlo had such a great life with family that cared so much. I'm positive that he had the best 12 years ever. I've always looked forward to reading all the positive vet visits and it truly amazed me how great he was doing even though it's such a devastating disease. Big guy put up a huge fight but now he is running pain free at rainbow bridge. My heart goes out to you and your family. May you rest in peace Carlo.

I am so sorry to hear of Carlo. What a terrible sad day. My grandma's 9yr old Lab was just put down about two hours ago today. Devastating.

Carlo was a fantastic friend, dog, protector, and companion and I know he will be missed greatly but all who knew him or knew of him. I know I loved him just through your stories.

RIP Carlo.

I'm so sorry. Sometimes in order to be a good friend and free them from pain, you have to let them go and take on the pain yourself. RIP, Carlo. The rainbow bridge is well guarded now.
