| ![]() I havent posted in a while, but I wanted to let everyone know that Dollar went to the vet on the 21st and has gotten a lot better, he now weighs 2.3 lbs (so glad) he got his second set of shots and was able to get his rabies shot too!!! His coughing has gotten a lot better, he hardly does it anymore at all. But the bad news is that they found ear mites? how did he get that? ![]()

| ![]() I'm glad to hear Dollar is getting better and bigger! ![]() ![]() HOW DID MY PET GET EAR MITES? Ear mites readily transmit from host to host by physical contact. Ear mites came from some other animal with whom your pet has been socializing. Because mites are easily transmissible by physical contact, treatment for mites often must include all household pets. http://www.marvistavet.com/html/body_ear_mites.html

| ![]() ear mites are very controllable with tresederm, but if your not diligent with the drops every day in each ear for 10 days the mites can get into your puppies coat and skin I would use revolution (ask your vet for it) it takes hold in 24 hours ridding the ear mites as well protects against fleas, heartworm and wont let the mites invade the skin.

Ok, i think that he might be on that. I put in 4 drops in each ear for 10 days and then repest 10 days later.....

| ![]() It's not uncommon for pups to get ear mites here and there. My ferret picked up ear mites while playing outside in the grass and then spread them to Harley! Eeek! But it's not hard to get rid of them though. Well, it's not hard to treat a dog but goodness is it hard to put drops in an unwilling ferrets ears! lol Hope Dollar feels better soon! Those little buggers really itch!
