| Cleo is gone Our precious Cleo, only 5 months old, is gone. She was playing yesterday like she normally does and all of a sudden stopped and went limp essentially and started bleeding out of her nose. We rushed her to the vet and after only a 5 minute trip she was in severe shock when we arrived. They put her on a ventilator and gave her steroids and Vit K. She died 4-5 hours later. Apparently she re-bled into her lungs and suffocated. The vet is performing an autopsy this morning. Our vet said it almost looked like some major trauma, although she had no sign of any broken ribs or other broken bones. Also could have been spontaneous bleeding, from what?? We have no mice/rat poison around the house, unless somebody threw some over the fence. Who would do such a thing?? Has anyone had any experience like this?? We are so sad in our house right now it's hard to describe. |

| Departed Angel Quote:
I am relieved that you are getting a autopsy as Yes it could be someone poisoned your precious baby. Many years ago I had a jealous neighbor who put poison over the fence for my Champion Great Dane , he died in the night as there was no way to help him by the time we noticed something was wrong. It makes us question why we only get these angels for a short time but they hold our hearts forever.
