| Ate Chocolate My lil dude 3 years old about 7 pounds just ate some chocolate from the chips ahoy. I think he ate about 1 piece of chocolate chip not the entire cookie. So pretty much 1 chip of the cookie because I took it out of his mouth in time and he just took a small bite from the cookie. At the most 2 chips of the chocalte.. What should I do...This just happened 2 minutes ago..HELP HELP. He seems fine right now |

| Really shouldn't need to do anything. You can call the ER to see if they want you to induce vomiting with peroxide, but it's doubtful that they will tell you too. Not a bad idea to speak to them though.

| ETA: here is a chart: Chocolate Toxicity Not harmful in very small amounts depending on the size of the dog.

| Oh, that small amount of what was milk chocolate should not bother even a little Yorkie.

| Yeah, that's a pretty small amount. I wouldn't worry too much. I am not even sure how much real chocolate is in those kind of cookies...? I know Oreos contain chocolate but it's like wayyy down on the ingredient list. Sometimes those kind of cookies aren't even "real" chocolate. Not sure if that makes a difference.
